Slide the stuff over your cable and heat it up with a hairdryer. It will shrink to fit your cable and provide good reinforcement. Bonus points if you first wrap the cord in a pen spring then shrink wrap over it..Check them out below Use the spring from a pen to keep the cable intact. Just open up a pen to get the spring inside. Or do the paracord trick. Get paracord, cut open and remove the white strand. Then melt the ends with a lighter to stop the cord from fraying. Try this bracelet trick. .
